REAR LIGHTS IN TRAILERS
Trailers must have tail lights, marker lights, reflectors and turn signal lights. Tail lights must be red. Often the tail lights come on together with the headlights, but there are also models where they have to be switched on manually. Please pay particular attention in the dark and fog, so that the lights are switched on in such cars that require a manual switch.
The tail light bulb is usually around 5 watts (W). However, the use of LED lamps has become more common, as they save an incredible amount of energy compared to a standard light bulb and are available in many different models. You can see the difference between energy-efficient and high-quality light, especially in the dark.
WHY CHANGE THE TAIL LIGHT?
No bulb lasts forever, so it's a common reason for replacement, including parking damage, rock strikes, indifference of road users due to poor visibility or the like. Many people don't think about wiping the dirt off the light. This can result in the light not showing as well as it should. Cables can also break. It is easy to remove the light from the car and install a new one if you have the right materials at home. We recommend an LED light when you next change your tail light.
