Founded in 1956, Labcraft designs and manufactures lighting for commercial vehicles and emergency vehicles. All aspects of technical and product design are carried out in-house, with 100% of Labcraft’s LED products manufactured in UK within the 15,000 square foot factory in Saffron Walden, Essex.  Last year Labcraft produced over 300 000 lights.

Based on a 186 acre organic farm in rural Essex headquarters are heated using a biomass boiler and each year thousands of trees are planted to offset the carbon footprint of the business. Company is already generating own energy from solar panels and plans for the future include power generation from the utilisation of a wind turbine.
